Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with Renox LLC (“Renox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy explains when and how you can return products and receive a refund.
By placing an order on our website (the “Site”), you agree to the terms of this Refund & Return Policy. This Policy applies only to purchases made directly from Renox through the Site and only to orders shipped within the United States, unless we expressly state otherwise.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

1. Return Eligibility & Return Window
You may request a return for eligible items within 30 calendar days from the date your order is marked as delivered by the carrier (“Delivery Date”).
To be eligible for a return, all of the following must be true:
Condition of the product
  • The product is unopened, unused, and in substantially the same condition as when you received it.
  • All original seals, labels, caps, and protective wraps remain intact and have not been tampered with.
Packaging and documentation
  • The product is returned in its original packaging, including any boxes, inserts, and printed materials.
  • You provide a valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email, receipt, or order number).
If these conditions are not met, we may, at our sole discretion, refuse the return or issue a partial refund (see Section 6.2).

1.1. Opened Products
Because our products are chemical/liquid formulations intended for automotive and related applications, for safety, quality-control, and regulatory reasons we generally do not accept returns of opened products (including containers that have been unsealed, partially used, or refilled), except in cases of confirmed defect, damage in transit, or our shipping error as described in Section 2.

If you believe an opened product is defective, do not dispose of it and do not ship it back before contacting us and receiving instructions.

2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive:
  • a product that appears defective;
  • a product that is damaged in transit; or
  • an incorrect item (wrong product, wrong variant, or wrong quantity),
Due to the nature of chemical and oil-based products, damaged, leaking, or defective items must not be shipped back to us unless we explicitly instruct you to do so. Shipping such items without our approval may create safety and regulatory issues and may result in your return being refused.

When you contact us, please provide:
  • your full name;
  • your order number;
  • a clear description of the issue; and
  • supporting evidence (for example, clear photos or videos of the product, packaging, and shipping label).
After we review the information, we will inform you of the next steps. If we confirm a defect, damage, or shipping error, we will, at our discretion:
  • send you a replacement at no additional cost, or
  • issue a full refund, which may include reasonable return shipping costs if we ask you to return the item.
Please keep the product and all packaging materials until your claim is fully resolved, as we or the carrier may require inspection.
If your product arrives damaged or leaking, please contact us within 7 calendar days of the Delivery Date with clear photo or video evidence. Once we verify the issue, we will, at our discretion, issue a replacement or a refund. Unless we specifically ask you to return the product, you must not ship damaged or leaking products back to us. You are responsible for disposing of any damaged or leaking product in accordance with local regulations and safety requirements.

3. Items That Cannot Be Returned
Except where prohibited by law, the following items are not eligible for return:
  1. Products that have been opened, unsealed, used, or tampered with (including partially used containers), unless we have confirmed a defect, damage in transit, or shipping error under Section 2.
  2. Products not purchased directly from Renox through the Site (for example, items purchased through dealers, distributors, marketplaces, or other third-party sellers). Returns for such purchases must be handled directly with the seller in accordance with their policies.
  3. Products returned more than 30 calendar days after the Delivery Date.
  4. Products that have been altered, diluted, mixed with other substances, or used in a way inconsistent with our instructions or intended use.
  5. Products that are damaged due to improper storage, misuse, accident, or negligence after delivery.
Where applicable law provides you with additional rights beyond this Policy, those rights will continue to apply.

4. How to Initiate a Return
You must contact us before sending any product back. Unapproved returns may be delayed, refused, or not processed.

4.1. Step 1 - Contact Renox

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Name and quantity of the product(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for the return (for example, “changed mind”, “ordered by mistake”, “damaged in transit”, “possible defect”)
  • Photos or videos, if the item is damaged or potentially defective
4.2. Step 2 - Return Authorization
If your request meets the conditions of this Policy, we will issue a Return Authorization and provide:
  • a return reference (RMA number or similar identifier);
  • the return shipping address; and
  • any additional instructions (for example, special handling instructions for chemical products).
We may refuse or delay processing any return that:
  • is not authorized in advance;
  • does not include sufficient information to identify the order or customer; or
  • is shipped to an address different from the one we provided.
4.3. Step 3 - Shipping the Product Back
Unless we instruct you otherwise, you are responsible for packaging and shipping the product back to us:
  • Use the original packaging if possible, or suitable protective packaging to avoid leaks, damage, or spills.
  • Ensure the container is securely closed.
  • Include inside the package:
  • your name and contact information;
  • your order number; and
  • the return reference (RMA).
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping proof of shipment. You are responsible for the product until it arrives at our designated return location.
Any returned item that arrives at our facility damaged, leaking, contaminated, or otherwise unsafe due to improper packaging or handling by you will not be eligible for a refund or replacement. We may dispose of such items for safety reasons and will not return them to you.

5. Return Shipping Costs
5.1. Change of Mind / Non-Defective Returns
If you are returning an item for reasons other than defect, damage, or our error (for example, “changed mind”, “no longer needed”, “ordered wrong product”):
  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless required by applicable law.
5.2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If we determine that the product is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect due to our error:
  • If we request that you return the product, we will either:
  • provide a prepaid return shipping label; or
  • reimburse reasonable return shipping costs that we approve in advance.
If we do not request the product to be returned, we will inform you of the resolution (e.g., refund or replacement) and you may dispose of the product as instructed.

6. Refunds
6.1. Approval and Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned product (if a return is required), we will notify you by email that we have received your return and inform you whether your refund is approved or denied.
If approved:
  • Your refund will generally be issued to the original method of payment used for the order.
  • We aim to process approved refunds within 7–10 business days after we receive and approve the return. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
The returned product is not in its original condition (for example, damaged, leaking, contaminated, or with significant wear), and this is not due to our error or damage in transit, including where the product was damaged during return shipping as a result of improper packaging by you.
6.2. Partial Refunds
At our reasonable discretion, we may issue a partial refund instead of a full refund in situations including, but not limited to:
  • The return is initiated outside the specified return window but accepted by us as an exception.
In such cases, we will inform you of the adjusted refund amount before processing.
6.3. Non-Refundable Charges
Unless required by law, the following are not refundable:
  • Original shipping costs paid at checkout (if any);
  • Any customs duties, import taxes, or similar charges paid by you;
  • Any additional services, surcharges, or fees imposed by carriers or payment providers.

7. Exchanges
We do not generally offer direct product-for-product exchanges.
If you would like a different item:
  1. Request a return for the original product in accordance with this Policy; and
  2. Place a new order for the desired product on the Site.
For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, we may at our discretion offer a replacement instead of a refund (see Section 2).

8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after being notified that it has been processed, please:
  1. Check your bank or card account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. If you have done this and still have not received your refund, contact us at info@renox.us with your name and order number.
We will do our best to assist you in tracking the status of your refund.

10. Governing Law & Changes to This Policy
This Refund & Return Policy and any disputes arising from or relating to it, your use of the Site, or your purchase of our products, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update or modify this Refund & Return Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. The version of the Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase, unless otherwise required by law.
